Devore Forestry Mulching is run by Dale Devore — a family man and a multi-generation Ohio farmer from Bloomingdale, right here in Jefferson County. Dale works full time for the county, and this business is his passion on the side: a way to put good equipment and a lifetime of working the land to use for his neighbors and community.
That matters when you’re deciding who to let on your property. When you call Devore, you’re not getting a salesman or a rotating crew — you’re getting Dale, his machine, and the kind of work ethic that comes from farming this ground for generations. He knows how to get the job done, and he treats your land the way he treats his own.
No project too big or small. A fence line that needs opened up, a full lot, a pasture that’s gotten away from you — it all gets the same honest work.
The Honest Pricing Promise
$250 an hour (4-hour minimum). Free estimates. That’s the whole price list.
- You pay when the machine is running — not when it’s cold, not when it’s on the trailer.
- Equipment delivery fee, published up front — $150 out to Steubenville, $200 at 30 miles, $250 at 45 miles, plus $50 into WV or PA. No mystery line items.
- 4-hour minimum on mulching and clearing — your job gets a real block of work, and the machine’s haul is covered honestly.
- No fuel up-charges. No equipment fees, no surcharges, no bait-and-switch.
- Travel fee agreed up front — sized to distance from Bloomingdale, Ohio and the scope of the work. If the fee suits all parties, Dale will haul the machine as far as you want it — PA, WV, and all around Ohio.
- Free estimates, honest answers. If mulching isn’t the right tool for your job, Dale will tell you.
